What is the status of my permit?

On the Permits tab of a project, you can find the status of each approval that make up your permit and the outstanding tasks required to move them towards approval. Here is what each stage means:

• Submission: The documents for that approval are being prepared and nothing has been submitted to the AHJ yet. If this is blank, preparation has not started yet for that approval.

• City Review: The first submission of the documents for that approval have been made and are currently being reviewed by the city.

• Comments: The city has returned comments that has to be reviewed by your team. The number next to Comments indicate what comment round that approval is on. If there is no number, it is the first round of comments.

• Approved: Your submission for that approval has been approved and no further action is needed!

When a permit is approved, it will be marked "Approved" in the top right corner of the permit.

You can also view the status of your permits across multiple projects from the Projects portfolio under the "Permits" column. The circles reflect the number of approvals and their colors reflect their progress. Each color represents following approval stages:

• Empty: Preparation for that approval has not started yet.

• Purple: The documents for that approval are being prepared and nothing has been submitted to the AHJ yet.

• City: The first submission of the documents for that approval have been made and are currently being reviewed by the city.

• Comment: The city has returned comments that need to be reviewed by your team.

• Green: The approval has been approved.

• Check: Your permit has been issued!

An approved permit will display only green circles, signifying that all approvals are approved, or a check mark for an issued permit.

You will receive email notifications about the progress of the approvals for your permit including when an approval is being prepared and submitted and when comments are returned.

After the permit is approved, you will receive another email notification that will take you to view your official permit.
